Rise of the Anointed book 1
Fractures
Rise of the Anointed book 2
Can the Anointed be fractured by a new enemy?
Comic books don't provide a blueprint to help teenage superheroes live a normal life. After the crazy events of the Launch Conference, Demarcus Bartlett and his gifted friends are trying to figure out what to do with their abilities.
Their mentor, John, counsels them to use wisdom and develop their faith more. But when Demarcus, Lily, Harry, and Sarah Jane are attacked by mysterious teens with powers of their own, they realize a bigger battle awaits.
As they try to uncover their attackers' secrets, they still have to navigate high school, family drama, and growing romantic feelings.
The Anointed teens will need to stand together against multiple enemies converging on San Francisco, or the fractures in their lives may consume them.
Anointed
Rise of the Anointed book 3
The Anointed have been fractured.
After the battle of Hyde Pier, Demarcus, Lily, and Harry are wounded and demoralized - while Sarah Jane is missing and they fear the worst about their mentor John.
The Archai have unleashed an ancient evil spreading rage across San Francisco, an evil that can even ensnare superpowered teens.
The Anointed must race against time to find Sarah Jane and confront the darkness engulfing the city. But first they must harness the power of forgiveness to heal the fractures in their lives. If they can learn to use their gifts unified, they may have a chance. And help may arise from an unsuspecting corner, if they can survive the corruption of the shadows.
Interstice Undone: An Epic Crossover
An adventure with my teen superheroes from Rise of the Anointed when they fall into a parallel universe with monster hunter Mercury Hale and his tween fans Iggy and Oz.
With Steve Rzasa and J.J. Johnson
Eon City: Burnout
An anthology - buy on Amazon
My writing group brainstormed a futuristic cyberpunk city. When a catastrophic event hits, we all chose different characters through which we explore what happens during the Breach.
Millions of people call Eon City home. They live their lives in glittering skyrises, flitting from place to place in sleek hovercars, synced with a digital world that gives them everything they could ever want. A shimmering energy shield protects everything they hold dear from violent solar storms.
At least, that’s what Axoprime Corporation wants you to believe.
The truth is layered as deeply as the megacity, all the way through the Underground, into the deadly Depths themselves. A truth few have been able to uncover.
Until now.
Nine authors combine their talents to explore a world equal parts delightful and dangerous, full of stories—the stories of regular people from all walks of life who, when they find themselves wrapped up in the same sinister conspiracy, face a decision.
Will they look out for themselves, like they’ve always done?
Or will they put their lives in jeopardy to uncover the forces behind a devastating attack that threatens the entire city?
Prismatic: an anthology
Is there a better way to grab the attention of teens than to mix social media, super powers, celebrities, and some rocking parties together into a giant conspiracy?
I honestly don’t think so, and for the first time since I read The Chronicles of Narnia, I found myself wanting to be sucked into this book, trials and all!
